Over the past week, Gail attended many neighborhood coffees throughout the city of Anaheim. At these meetings, the residents shared their thoughts and concerns, while Gail discussed her priorities as a city councilwoman. Understanding the issues is an important part of Gail's campaign and her commitment to improving our communities and the quality of life for the residents of Anaheim.

Dear Neighbor:

My candidacy for city council is based on one simple premise:  I want to make Anaheim the best place to live and do business in Southern California.

I have lived here for most of my adult life.  I am personally committed to maintaining the quality of life of our community. I know how it can be done.

Clean streets.  Safe neighborhoods.  Vibrant businesses and growing jobs.   These are the building blocks of Anaheim’s future.   With a city council that is dedicated, visionary, and engaged, we can make it happen.

For the past seven years, I have proudly served on the City of Anaheim Planning Commission with three years as the chairman. I led the Save Our Anaheim Resort (SOAR) effort to protect Anaheim’s largest economic engine and job creator to ensure our city continues to generate funding for critical city services, such as police and fire.

As an Anaheim resident for over 25 years, a member of the Anaheim Historic Preservation Committee, the Neighborhood Council Traffic Calming Committee and on the board of directors for the Anaheim Transportation Network, I would be proud to continue my support of this fine community as your city councilwoman.

I would be honored to have your vote – number 9 on your ballot.

Sincerely,

Gail Eastman
